NxTV Signs Master Agreement With The James Hotel Group


LOS ANGELES, Apr 10, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) - NxTV, Inc., the leading provider of digital in-room entertainment, voice and data services to luxury hotels worldwide, today announced that it has signed a master agreement to supply HD video-on-demand entertainment and wireless Internet services to The James Hotels, a portfolio of current and planned hotel properties in a number of key markets, including New York, Miami and Chicago.

The James Hotel Group effortlessly blends a sense of modern, residential comfort with state-of-the-art technology and exceptional service. Under the master agreement, the first hotel to install the NxTV system will be The James Chicago, located on the corner of Rush and Ontario, steps away from Michigan Avenue. The hotel's 297 guestrooms include studios, lofts and one bedroom apartment suites, with dark wood platform beds, private dining niches, plasma screen TVs, iPod/MP3 docking stations, and spacious slate-tiled and marbled bathrooms. The James Chicago features David Burke's Primehouse, a modern interpretation of the classic Chicago steakhouse, and the J Bar, a lounge offering classic cocktails in a modern environment. Other guest services at The James include The Gym, The Spa, and a friendly 24-hour concierge service giving guests exclusive access to all the hottest spots in town.
