Angie Ruiz Chosen as the Face of NxTV for the World's Most Prestigious and Luxurious Hotels
LOS ANGELES, May 14, 2007 - This May, guests of luxury hotels around the globe will tune in and be turned on by the new, sexy face of NxTV, actress Angie Ruiz. NxTV has thoughtfully chosen this rising Hollywood starlet to take hotel guests through their interactive digital entertainment programming options, introducing them to the wide-array of HD multi-media services available through their NxTV-enabled television. The company serves many of the most prestigious hospitality brands in the world including Four Seasons, Peninsula, W Hotels, St. Regis, Le Meridien, Omni, Raffles, MGM, JW Marriott, Harrah's and Kerzner International. Last summer, Ms. Ruiz was hailed by People Magazine En Espanol as the "Cara Nueva" (New Face) of 2006. The NxTV spokesmodel role was formerly held by model/actress Rachel Hunter.
The NxTV vignettes featuring Ms. Ruiz will familiarize hotel guests with services that include Hollywood's top movies, concerts from their favorite music artists and music videos. Ms. Ruiz's video sequences were directed by Emmy award-winning director, Bruce Logan whose credits include Batman Forever, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, The Rookie, Star Wars (visual effects artist) and over 300 commercials.
Angie Ruiz has become one of Hollywood's busiest new talents. She has starred in feature films for Lions Gate, FoxSearchlight, Maverick Entertainment and Miramax including SURF SCHOOL, IN YOUR EYES, BEE SEASON, and 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS. Currently, Ms. Ruiz is set to star in LITTLE GORDON, directed by internationally acclaimed director, Francesca Di Amico that begins shooting in August of 2007.

The show will run from May 4 through May 31 at Theatre Forty in Beverly Hills. Ms. Ruiz had the opportunity to hone her theater skills in London where she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
